Has anyone else had to go though this?

Took FAR, failed with a 74. Day the scores were released redid my NTS though the state (TX). Now the state is saying I wont get my number till June 1 since I tested in this test window. I just want my number to reserve my spot in the next test window, July 1. For some reason in Dallas, we have three testing centers and they all are booked for extended periods of time. All of May and most of June at all 3 locations are booked up for some reason.

There are no CPA tests administered in June, so that is probably why there is no dates open in June. You cannot test during the last month of each quarter, so the rest of May is probably pretty full too because people want to test near the end of the window so that they don't have to wait long to get their scores.

My testing center tests 100's of different tests, what I am saying is that they are already filled up from CPA tests, and god knows what other tests.

I am in Dallas and waiting for my NTS as well (first time taker). I have resigned that I may have to drive a ways to find an available testing center. I actually live about a mile from one of them, but right now, it looks like I will be driving to Waco. C'est la vie!

I was able to pull up my NTS and schedule before NASBA e-mailed me by requesting a reprint of my NTS at the website below..

I received my e-mail with my NTS about 36 hours after I had already scheduled my exam.

Thanks PiJuice! I did what you suggested. I actually wasn't just waiting for my NTS. I was waiting for my Payment Coupon. I got a copy of that from the NASBA web site about two hours before I got the email. Then waited a couple of hours and was just able to get my NTS using the link you posted. I am all set for AUD on Saturday morning. My thinking is that I will get my NTS email after having sat for the exam. 🙂
