I took FAR for the first time yesterday and ran out of time while working on the simulations testlet. I had at least partial answers for all sims, but I didn’t submit the testlet before the timer ran out as I assumed it would automatically submit once the timer ran out. After the timer rant out and I was kicked out of the exam the final screen mentioned something along the lines of “submitted testlets will be graded.” Now I am panicking because I don’t know if I will get credit for any of testlet 4, which means there is no way I can pass the exam. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, do you know if they will grade the responses I had?

It is assumed as submitted.Relax ,system submitted for you as you didn't submit .

I heard that if you don't hit the “Final Submit” button, none of the exam gets graded and you get a 0.

No true,many times while I was on my last SIM scratching my heads I was kicked out by system and I was graded.You can search this forum ,you kicked out or you submitted both are same,Submitted.

Thanks, Nath. I knew my other testlets had been submitted, so I wasn't worried about those. I had seen a few other people ask the same question in a different thread, but no one mentioned if it had actually happened to them to confirm that it would be graded. I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

I didnt hit submit many times, and I still got a passing score

I was in a similar situation with BEC earlier in 2016 and I went ahead and reached out to the AICPA and they told me it is actually counted and that the CPA auto-saves everything in 30 second intervals (even if submit is not pressed).

Well I received my scores & I passed FAR! If anyone else ever has this issue, don't panic! All answers you input on the exam will be graded!
