Does anyone know about the Texas appeal process? Or if Texas even offers it? I know that chances of winning an appeal are slim to none, but I’m at my end and it may be my last option…I’ve taken these exams for 3 years, and just had FAR left to go, and just got my score back and got a 74. So now, I just lost credit for AUD and BEC, and am basically back at square one…..This test has taken such a toll on my mentally and physically that I don’t think I can do it anymore. And to make matters worse, of course it is 1 point that kept me from finishing. I’m just beyond upset….any comments about the appeal process in tx would be appreciated…thanks.

Sorry, it appears Texas doesn't offer an appeal.

With that being said, don't give up. You know you can pass these exams. Hell, you HAVE passed these exams! You are so close on FAR, you will get it next time. Don't let the 3 years you've committed be in vain. You are so close, even though withe losing credit you feel so far away. There are a few good examples of folks that have been in your shoes that are now done. You can be done too, but only if you keep at it.

ETA – I looked at some of your past posts… and your journey has been a tough one. You seem to be convinced the SIMS are really holding you back. I use the WILEY test bank, and they have a lot of awesome sims. My first round through exams I didn't practice sims because I didn't think it was something you could “practice and perfect”. But I'm singing a different tune now. With sims being 40% of the score, you have to feel good about them going in. Now, the sims have become my favorite part because I feel confident I will get some extra points on them.

Even if Texas offered an appeal, not a single person since the beginning of the appeals process has ever had their score changed due to an appeal.

In CT it's $200 and takes up to 8 weeks. Doesn't seem worth it when you can get a lot of studying done in 8 weeks. I'm sorry you lost parts, I imagine there's not much that feels worse, but an appeal never seems to be worth it even if it's offered.
