Fact Pattern:

So a long time ago I had originally planned to take BEC in July/August to be done forever. I went ahead and bought an exam section for BEC for that window, but in the meantime I discovered I failed REG back in April. I decided to re-sit for REG in that window and bump BEC. However, when I look at my NTS for this section, it only says “Latest You Can Take This Exam: 10/27/13”. Does this mean I can take BEC with this NTS number all the way until 10/27 or will I have to buy another section for that testing window.

You can use your NTS until that date. You don't need a new one each quarter.
