Back in August I paid the $20 application fee in order to sign up for REG. Due to busy season, I was never able to get a good time to study so I decided it was a waste of time to try to take the exam. I never paid the testing fees, and therefore, never received an NTS. I looked at my account on the Texas State Board recently and it said that my window closed on 11/02. However, I wasn’t given the option to re-register for REG. I decided to just try to pay the test fee on 11/05 to see if I could still sign up even though my window had passed. Needless to say, it accepted my payment. However, I never received an NTS even though my account on the Texas State Board website says it processed one on 11/06.
Has anyone had an experience similar to this?
Also, once you pay the $20 fee, and you decide not to sign up for the exam, shouldn’t that fee just expire and allow me to re-register/pay the fee again?
