For those interested, this was posted by AICPA Communications to their blog:

“NASBA, the AICPA and Prometric have agreed to extend the testing window until Dec. 8, 2012, to enable candidates who were unable to test in the Northeast due to Hurricane Sandy.

Prometric’s test centers are coming back online and candidates are being contacted in order to reschedule. Please visit prometric.com for more information or contact NASBA at cpaexam@nasba.org or visit nasba.org for more information.”

I just went on the NASBA website:

“Q: Will the testing window be extended?

A: For those candidates affected by the storm, the testing window will be extended to December 8. “

For me, I would love the extra two weeks just to do multiple choice questions for FAR, but I do not want to take the risk where my score will be voided or not scored because I wasn't affected by the storm in Illinois.

    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    REG - Passed

    Ethics - Passed
    Sent Application in July 1
    Licensed September 2 (IL)
