Hi all,

I’m wondering. Is anyone else in Southern California having issues scheduling appointments in 2014?

I’m trying to schedule FAR for a Saturday in January. I just got my NTS; it expires in April.

I’ve looked at the Glendale and Camarillo locations, but it’s only giving me 2 dates available, 01/15/14 and 04/09/14. Gardena apparently isn’t even taking any appointments in 2014.

There seems to be more options at Culver City, but only showing Friday and Saturdays. (I can’t take time off from work to take a test during the week anyways, but it’s just so odd to see those 2 days as the only options.)

Diamond Bar doesn’t show any appointment Tues – Thurs in January, and nothing available in February.

This is not something I’m used to seeing and seems unlikely that all appointments are full already.

It seems so weird to me, but is it normal?

hhmm I haven't tried to schedule something that far in advance yet, but I'm thinking that the centers just doesn't schedule that far in advance. I know, it kind of sucks. I've heard good things about both the Glendale and Culver City centers. You pay for parking at Glendale though.

also – keep in mind people re-schedule their tests as it gets closer to the testing day, so a bunch should open up eventually 🙂 good luck!!

I had trouble with this before in CT – Prometric sites won't release their schedule for after the New Year until closer to the end of the year. I wasn't able to schedule a January 2013 exam until sometime around October 2012. Call/email Prometric – they should be able to tell you when you can schedule a 2014 exam.
