Hi,

I am trying to become a CPA in NY but the testing window for July is all booked up. I have taken 2 tests already in NY and am trying to schedule my 3rd test now. When I look on the prometric scheduling site, there is a location in NJ that has a time slot available and is not too far away. My question is, can I take one section in NJ even though I am applying to be a NYS CPA?

Yeah you can take the CPA exam at any location in any state. I am a California candidate but signed up for a location in Nevada.

I am a NY candidate and took all 4 tests in NJ. It's perfectly fine.

A - 75
B - 78 God is good.
F - 77 Answered prayers.
R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
