Hi there, I have a few questions now that I have passed the exam (/HAPPYDANCE. Thanks to Jeff for setting up this community, and helping me when I really needed it!! <3. I’m letting my teachers known about this community for the upcoming review course students!)
1. Where is my congratulatory letter being sent? I went on NASBA.org and didn’t see a place for an address. I just moved down to Cali for work many many many miles away and…they probably don’t know where I live?
2. How do I take the ethics test? When do I take it? When I get my work experience, or just whenever? It seems like it is issued through the state you are practicing in. I came to California from Montana, but applied to Montana’s state board (Didn’t want to deal with applying to Cali at the time, was very busy and didn’t know how). Should I be taking a Montana Ethics exam, and then transferring my scores / everything? Or do I need to take a California ethics exam, and transfer my scores to California?
3. Is there any reason you can lose credit for the exam? Or once it’s passed within the time frame, it is passed for good? (ie; does the ethics exam affect your exam credit?)
4. Is there any advantage to be licensed earlier? I have had 3 internships, probably about 1,000 hours of internship experience. I start big 4 in a few weeks and could probably get licensed by…january or so? If I talked to all my old bosses and got sign-offs?
Reading the NASBA site didn’t help me as much as I hoped. Maybe I am bad at navigating it.
edit : I don’t know how this posted in this forum. I just added a topic to the front page. Oops?
