Question: My REG credit will expire on July 25th, 2012 (the first exam credit that is due to expire). I only need to pass FAR to have all 4 complete. My concern is, if circumstances force me to take FAR in July, can I sit any day before the 25th, pass, and still hold on to my REG credit???

I guess the hypothetical situation I’m playing out in my head is: I sit for FAR July 20th, 2012. Score isn’t released until (guess) August 6th.. however, regardless if i passed/failed I would have already lost credit for REG on the 25th of July.

Might be a dumb question but I figured you exam experts on here could help and give me some security.

All that matters is that you sit for – and pass – the exam before the credit expires. You could get your score next Christmas and as long as that exam attempt on that day was a success, you're good.
