So I am currently in snow and ice. Two of the centers in the area have announced closure on the site (one of them being where I live but 45 minutes from a center that offers the CPA exam where my test is scheduled). Anyone know how long it typically takes for them to announce closures? My exam is on Sunday at 9 and I don’t think I will be able to make it that far with the weather. What is the protocall on this type of situation? Tomorrow morning is the latest for me to reschedule (for the 24 hours in advance) but will they make me pay the fee? I’ve tried calling and emailing with no answer yet.

They usually close the day before. If you reschedule before a closure is announced you'll have to pay the fee. Obviously if they close the site there is no fee to you.

Thanks! So I just received a phone call from the center saying that they are closing for tomorrow and I would get a phone call from Corporate about rescheduling. Does anyone know the reschedule process?

I need to take it by the end of February because my credits expire in April. When Corporate calls (which I hope they do soon) will they be able to reschedule me directly or will I have to go on the website to do so? The person from the Prometric center that called said they might be extending the days and times in order to fit us in. Those times aren't reflected on the Prometric availability yet since they haven't planned anything but I don't want to wait too long and miss openings, I am in the middle of busy season for Audit and have limited time.
