As you guys can see, I’ve had several experiences with Prometric. It seems like everytime I’m there, there is someone with the worst testing etiquette possible. I’m easily distracted so it really takes everything for me not to scream at the culprit.
These people make me feel like I should get a 10 point addition for being quiet and respectful to others in the testing room.
So, in an effort to vent and because generally I’m not sure what to do with the rest of my day off, let’s compile a code of conduct.
DO NOT BE THIS PERSON!
1. The guy who pulls up right next to you in the big parking lot with plenty of empty spaces. He continues to bump his stereo even though he sees you are in your car, looking over notes.
2. The foot shaker. Knock that s*** off. My Prometric is the 2nd floor so the whole floor shakes when someone walks by or moves their foot.
3. And the worst guy I have ever sat by, who prompted this thread goes to…guy who CAN NOT SIT STILL. He kept adjusting his seat really loudly, almost every other question. It wasn’t like he was trying to find a comfortable position – he’d bring it all the way down, and back up…and continue….
and on the questions where he wouldn’t do that he would kick the floor!! I mean really?? Come on. This is the first time I contemplated going to Prometric to see if I could move.
