I was scheduled to take AUD today but Prometric ended my test early. I check in and when I was waiting for the Prometric employee to login in to the computer he brought another employee over because it’s showing an unusual prompt. After a few minutes they sat me down so I can launch the test. I get through the acknowledgements and when it’s at the direction screen Windows starts shutting down. Not like a ‘cut power’ shut down. A little window pops saying “Windows is shutting down” and all the open programs close. So I tell them and they relog me in. The lady waited to see if it will shut down. It opened at the direction screen again except this time it was the directions for the simulation problems. I told her this wasn’t right and they are usually at the end of the exam but it said Testlet 1 of 4 at the top. I decide to go through with it and see what happens. After working on the simulations hour almost an hour I completed and it told me the test was complete and it was time to take the survey. I told the Prometric staff what happened and they began to call customer service. They were unable to reset the test and I now have to contact NASBA to report the incident. All sign in and sign out procedures were carried out.
I have yet to do this and I’ll update as I find out more.
