I know you can you prepone or postpone your existing exam appoinment with prometric.

But what if when you try to do that there are no available

appoinment dates available on the prometric website ??

Or is it that since you have taken an exam appoinment you can postpone it to any date you want??

Please Please Please anyone who has any bit idea about this?

Yes, I would keep looking in other locations. It just depends how far you are willing to drive on test day. Also, keep checking everyday if you don't see an open slot today. People reschedule all the time so you never know when a spot you like will open up for you.

Yeah i had kept that in mind about another test centre but you know wat last time i had taken an appoinment at this other testing centre and i had such a bad experience there unfortunately. Their pc had sm problem. Staff was not aware about rules and stuff. Wen i had taken a break the testing centre staff made me wait and i told her i am giving my test so please can you do the finger testing n stuff first and let me in. That was my second attempt for audit 🙁

I just gave bec at my regular testing centre and they are so co-operative.they make the whole process easier for me.

Although the exam experience was altogether different for me :-s

I wanted to postpone my audit date for 30 th nov to 3-4 dec but the only hitch is its target release date 20 th dec

Basically i have scheduled for 3 rd attempt for audit on nov 30 th and i will get my bec results until 4 th nov and if i dont clear i will again attempt in early jan and if i also dont clear audit i will attempt again in jan end.

I am taking into account the worst case scenario as these exams are so unpredictable :(:( Also my credit expires in jan so it gets all the more difficultesttt

Hey nishvik,

Sounds like the question for you will be whether 6 days of study-time is worth going to the less-helpful test center or not. If it was me, I'd probably keep my Nov 30 date unless something in Dec opened up at my preferred test center, because having nice Prometric people can have a very mind-calming effect! However, if you feel like the extra study days will be critical, then maybe it's worth dealing with the not-so-friendly test center. That's unfortunate that you have worry about their behavior, though. Maybe look for another test center – like the one 3rd furthest away, since 2nd furthest isn't very polite?

That's true- calling has helped me in the past! My April exam in Boston was canceled because the marathon bomber was at large. I quickly looked online and saw no open dates, but I ended up calling Prometric and they found one for me the next week. Maybe it was just because of the circumstances, but they were helpful!
