Its been awhile since iv applied for the exam and forgot the process. Do i still have to pay 50 dollars to apply? i went to the NASB website and

1.) clicked on “CPA Exam”

2.) then “california”

3.) then “pay your examination fee now” but when i typed in my information it said i already existed

I read on another post to click on “re-exam registration” after step 2 but i did not see “re exam registration” anywhere? please help

You have to select the part of the exam you want to take and then continue. when you view your cart, the registation fee will automatically be added to the exam fee. You should still have a chance to review before you put in your credit card number.

CA isn't a NASBA state, so it's a little different for us.

Log in here:

https://www.cba.ca.gov/cbt_private/login_form

Click on the tab titled “Create Application”

You will select the top button “Repeat Application $50”

Then at the bottom click “Request new remittance form”

This should create another application. You will need to sign it and mail it to the CBA with a check for $50.

Once it is approved (a couple weeks or so) you will receive notification of approval. And you will be able to go to the AICPA website and select the exam(s) you would like to take using your new application number.

Once you select the exams, and pay, AICPA will send you a new NTS.
