On my NTS my name is listed as “Dan Smith II”. However, on my passport and driver license I do NOT have the “II” listed, and in addition both have my middle name (both DL and PP have “Dan John Smith”). I take the exam Tuesday, please let me know if this is an issue!

    Thanks!

It shouldn't be. They barely checked my ID when I was there. I had my passport and they didn't even ask for it. I'm sure it varies between testing centers, though.

Check your NTS. Mine says that the name on my NTS must match the ID. If they don't match, to call my state board at least 10 days before the test.

You can always try and see if Prometeric accepts it, but don't be surprised if you are not allowed to take the test.

Hmm, that's pretty tough to say. I would call the test center and see Monday. I would say that your in a pretty grey area. If your test center is strict they can definitely deny you.

My DL has my middle initial and none of my NTS's ever had it. I've never had a problem. The last time I went they didn't even look at my NTS. They had me write my launch code on my scratch paper. Come to think of it they only looked at my NTS for my launch code. I don't think they've ever looked at my name.
