Is NASBA open on Saturdays to send out NTS?

Oregon took over a month to get me my ATT (I just got it yesterday evening) and I paid my NASBA Audit fees today and was really hoping to get my NTS before Monday to get my exam scheduled ASAP (as in hoping to take it on the 22nd).

    Thanks!

Well, I wanted to make sure I passed AUD before moving on. Back in 2011, when I was first taking the exams, I would study for one, move on to the next and I didn't seem to work for me. Then by the time I got around to taking the first test over again, I had to COMPLETELY re-learn the material. I figured if I focused on one test, I would have the material semi fresh in my head, in the situation of failing it, that way I could just do a ton of MCQ/TBS (because I am terrible at the simulations) instead of really taking the time to listen to the lectures and doing all the reading again.

With that being said, I am hoping to study for REG as well, and taking it in August. I am kicking myself for not marking both AUD and REG on my last application. :-/ I thought about it AFTER I had mailed it off and I didn't bother asking if it could be added (since I figured the answer would have been a big fat NO). I should have looked to see if Saturday the 20th was open, but that would have meant I had to drive myself up to La Grande to take it (hubster has Monday's and Tuesday's off).

I felt that way too, taking one test until you pass it. And it was a great idea, until I passed one, now its 6 months later in my 18 month window and I haven't passed a 2nd test yet! I am now crippled to take 2 in a window and isolated in my office at home until I finish.

My motivation is that I LOVE Christmas, and I have a new house to decorate (Part of the reason I am 6 months behind in passing these b/c I bought a house during tax season). If I pass the 3 I have left in the next 2 windows then I will be FREE to have the time to decorate my house for Christmas, if not…. well then you know what I will be doing for Christmas.

    Hi fellow Oregon candidates!

Just wondering how long it took you all to get payment coupons after you received the state's ATT email. I received ATT about a week ago and waiting on NASBA. Hoping to take exam before September!

I got my ATT on 7/1/13 at 12:05 PM and my payment coupon came the same day at 2:34 PM. I have email set up as my communication preference, so if you picked a different method, it could probably affect the time frame. A week seems like a long time between these two parts of the process. I've only done it once, so I don't have a ton of experience though.

Thanks for the reply! I definitely chose email communication. They emailed me another copy of my old NTS the day after I got my ATT, so I'm thinking they made some sort of mistake. Called NASBA, but they said to wait another day or so.

    Good luck on FAR!
