    Hi All,

When I sat for for BEC my Prometric had a significant noise disruption due to a construction truck or something. When I tried using the noise blockers they did not block much of the noise outside. So there was a period of about 15-20 minutes most of the candidates and Prometric stuff were a bit rattled. Contacted NASBA they said they will investigate. What does this really mean? I emailed same day I took my exam they came back 5 days later after score release they said they will investigate the disruptions/test taking conditions?

Anyone ever had that experience? Do they actually investigate pull videos from that day?

Long story short: if there IS something to this … you have 2 choices…

    1) Live with your exam results

    2) re-take the exam (but never see your results)

    That's basically it.

If you don't want option 2 … I wouldn't give it another thought.

I am cheap person, I would take option 2 faster than you can say amen. Because I lost valuable time with that noise and my performance suffered after.

Well unfortunately my case is not a case closed. I sat for my part a day before labor day weekend so it took NASBA 5 business days to reply to my email. That 5th business day when I received the response to my email 2 hours later scores were released. The holidays messed with the number of days.

I am just curious what the outcome will be. I can see Prometric/NASBA investigators rewinding the video and seeing staff in the testing room walking towards the window and candidates cursing and staring at the window.
