How do you know how much credits NASBA consider during application process ? I have 3 degrees which should give me the 150 but I want to know for sure, how much they assess as valid.

You have to go to your state's Board of Accountancy. The 150 is a requirement, but my state requires that 36 semester hours (12 classes for 3 credits each) are in upper level accounting and 24 semester hours are in upper level business AND they require two business law classes and specify the content on some of the upper level accounting classes. I had two degrees, but both were in business so I had to go back to get the 12 upper level accounting classes since none of my upper level classes for my two degrees were accounting/tax classes.

Thank you for responding. I asked today and was told I have over 180 credits.lol I have 1 associate in accounting, 1 in computer information system and 1 Bachelor in Business Admin. with concentration in Accounting. Now, I need the experience and CPA license to finalize career goal 😉
