MY NTS for FAR is about to expire. I am scheduled for the 11th(the day of expiration) but will not be prepared. If I do a no show will I be able to take it THIS testing window. I called the illinois board of examiners and they said I would but the guy was confused about the process in general.

From my understanding it takes 1-2 weeks for prometrics to update their records. Once it is updated I can go through the payment coupon and NTS process again and take it THIS testing window.

Has anyone done this to confirm? Yes or no? And does it actually take two weeks. The Payment Coupon + NTS process is supposed to take two weeks and it never takes me more than 4 days.

i had a similar issue for BEC.

This is what i did to make sure I could still sit BEC..

1. I cancelled my appointment with Prometric because i didn't want to be seen as if I have take the exam. I was not sure of the impact of having the appointment remain and coming up as a no sure.. I thought best to cancel the appointment and then I would be completely safe rescheduling the exam for the same window at a later date.

2. I reapplied for a new NTS and got an appointment later that same month.

Had no issues sitting the exam.
