I took my REG exam on 8/31/2013 @ 5pm. I have yet to receive my score. When I contacted my state board, they are saying that I am showing as a “no show” for the test. What!!!! You have to be kidding me. WTH. So I had to send them a copy of my confirmation of attendance. Now I have to wait to see what the heck happened. Has anyone ever has this issue?

Yes and no. The prometric center messed up. I originally scheduled my REG exam for July. I got my confirmation # that you receive when you schedule your exam. The confirmation # is attached to your NTS ID. I cancelled my original appointment and later scheduled my exam for Aug 31st. When you cancel as opposed to re-scheduling, you receive a different confirmation # which is attached to your NTS ID. The folks at the prometric center had attached my old confirmation # to my testing ID on the date of my test Aug 31st. They should have updated to the new confirmation #. So when I took my test, the system was looking for the new confirmation # but the prometric center had me taking the test under the old confirmation # which was no longer valid, hence the reason I was considered a no show. Long story short, the director of candidate care for the prometric system has been provided the issue and is working on getting the issue resolved. IT did confirm that my test was still in the system. I was told that I would know something within 48-72 hours, so hopefully I will have news by the end of the week that they were able to transmit my test.

So I would also caution folks when rescheduling your tests to make sure that the prometric center has the correct confirmation # that corresponds to the test that you are taking because that confirmation # is attached to your NTS ID. Will keep you posted.
