I took my REG exam on 8/31/2013 @ 5pm. I have yet to receive my score. When I contacted my state board, they are saying that I am showing as a “no show” for the test. What!!!! You have to be kidding me. WTH. So I had to send them a copy of my confirmation of attendance. Now I have to wait to see what the heck happened. Has anyone ever has this issue?

Wow. Makes you wonder what else can go wrong and undetected…. Anyone auditing their internal control? 😉

Here is the issue with requiring someone to retake a test. You qualified to take the test. You paid to take the test. You showed up and took the test. To require someone to retake a test because it was “lost during transmission” or some other excuse is not right. If you are given the exact same test, then it would be considered a retake. And we have been told that these tests are based on performance for the MCQ's, so it would be impossible to administer the exact same test. With that said, and to tough_kitty's point, where is the internal control to keep these things from occurring? From an audit standpoint, when a test is launched in the prometric site, there must be some reconciliation of the number of tests that were launched to the number of tests that were transmitted to the AICPA. There must be some electronic confirmation of what was sent to the AICPA is what was received by the AICPA. Makes you wonder where are the controls in the transmission process.

This has been stressful enough preparing for the test. Now this…. I can't get that time back.

Well, that's just BS. If they lost your test, they should give you a passing score!!!!

As much as we would love for that to happen, I don't think a passing score is the correct solution. Rather, they should waive his fees and perhaps offer to waive the next exam fee as a way of apologizing? I don't know..

We have 18 months to pass all four parts of the exam. With the clock ticking, I can't afford losing an entire window because of this. Also, my testing materials have expired for this part. The fact that I was able to take a controlled test and have record of the completion and there are not enough controls in place to reconcile submissions should cause concern for all.

@0506597 Nothing in nature is vandalistic it all work towards good! Think about this and do not be too hard on yourself.. Ask this questions Why only you had this problem? People have taken their exams on the last day of the testing window and have no issue why you? There is a message from God to you …. You'll be fine and a solution will be found. Just asking if they resolve the issue and the results depicts the you FAILED the exams what will be your reaction a legal suit, a challenge of the results or …. what ? Just stay calm and let the processes work I think all is not lost ..
