If failed in any section of CPA exam, Does a perosn need to wait some time to apply for the re-examination?

Or can do the re-examinaiton immediately?

Nasba makes you wait 48 hours from score release. You will have reapply to your state board after you receive a failing score. The earliest you may retake is the next testing window. So if you failed during this last Oct/Nov window You may sit in January. So it will be smart to apply now, study during Dec and then test in the beginning of Jan if time is an issue for you.

You cannot reapply for an exam that is pending score release. You must wait for the score to retake that section. That's why some candidates apply for and schedule another exam section while they are waiting for their score. It saves time and helps you to sit for at least two exams per window.

If you haven't passed any sections yet though and want to retake FAR, I don't see any reason not to wait a week or two for the score release. You aren't at risk for losing any sections, after you pass your first exam the game changes a bit.
