How many times can you fail one particular test?

This might be a dumb question, but how many times can you fail one test?

My situation: passed FAR, failed AUD, then passed REG and BEC. Feeling rushed with the end of August closing in…but my thought process is just take it and if I fail try again in October – i might as well try in this window. I won’t start losing passed tests until next summer so that is a non-issue but will be swamped for a while with busy season….

Can you pass one (starting your “window”) then fail a particular test too many times? Or could I technically keep failing AUD per testing window?

    FAR: 78
    AUD: 71, Aug 27
    REG: 77
    BEC: 80

I'm pretty sure there isn't a limit on how many times you can fail a particular test (just once per window obviously). It wouldn't make sense for them to cut you off since each failed test just means more money in testing fees for them. Good luck on audit! Go into it with a mindset that you're going to pass, I find that helps for me.

There's no limit except the once per window but it might not be wise to take it every window if money is a factor.

    Awesome. Thank you.

I'm going to just spend the $300 and try and cram for my last one. It's probably how much I'd spend at the bars over a months time, so at least it will be put to good use.

In all honesty tho, isn't it worth taking a stab at it once per window? I mean $300 isn't like McDonald's happy meal prices, but then again this is our careers were talking about….
