I know it says to get there at least 30 mins before your scheduled time and for my other 3 tests I have gotten there 30 minutes before and have been able to start shortly after. I have a test next week and I now wish I had signed up for an earlier time…how early have you gotten to the testing center? Anyone know how early is too early to get there, like if I got there an hour before my time do you think they would still let me start shortly after I got there?

I've been known to get there before the employees, however for the afternoon tests it depends on if someone finished their test early from the morning session and a computer is open for you. I've only had one afternoon and I was there the recommended 30 mins and I started 20 mins late. That testing center is very inefficient and unorganized though.

I think 30-45 minutes before the test is scheduled to start is appropriate.

On my last test they actually called me a few hours before my test and told me to come on in any time before my appointment. I went in right away and finished about the time I should have been starting. Sometimes living in a rural area pays off.

I believe I got there 2 hours early last time. For sure, at least one hour early.

Yes, go early, and if they have a spot available, they will let you in.

There is always the risk that they are really booked up and you might have to wait till your scheduled time. Just bring your notes and use the time wisely.

Yeah I've went in like an hour and a half early before and they let me start right away. It all depends how full they are.

For my first test I went in at nine even though my test was scheduled for twelve thirty. I just couldn't sit at home anymore and was freaking out. They let me star right away! Every other time I started about an hour early. 🙂

I'm normally there with 5 minutes to spare. Maybe my test center is different, but it is in one of the five largest cities in the US.

Just go a half hour early like the NTS says. You're not in line for Justin Beiber tickets.
