How do we wait that long?

Still blows my mind we got to wait over 2 more months till scores are released. What are people doing in the meantime? Have people been contacting their state boards to see how they are handling credit extensions? Really seems like we have been left in the dark by the AICPA on how the exams are graded and why it takes them over 10 weeks to grade them? I really can’t stop thinking about it.

I am studying for the REG (my last section) while waiting on BEC. I think it worked out for me because if I failed BEC my ego won't be bothered while studying REG. People in your position have it worse and I don't know what I'd be doing!! I test 7/29, then have a month to wait for BEC and an additional month for REG; I think that will kill me so I couldn't imagine y'all!

    BEC - 79
    REG - 85
    AUD - 5/27/16

I took the exam in Alaska and thinking of transferring to Washington. I have to earn more credits to be lisenced there so I'm working on it.
And Orange is the new black. But it will only take like 3 days to finish…. I don't know what else to do other than that.

But maybe I failed AUD, so I'll buy Ninja and try to be able to retest in q3.

I know this wait is so inconvenient… I'm expecting that scores are released earlier than the target date, but I won't happen…

If i were you I would restudy the material. Yes it sucks but there isn't much you can do.

Every night I break out in a cold sweat, and wake up around 3AM after dreaming that I got a 74. Then I realize scores won't be released for another 2.5 months and I start crying…

In all reality, I haven't been doing anything. I either passed or I didn't, so I am trying to enjoy my summer. I am going hiking in Banff, golfing with my buddies, climbing in Denver, and making as many weekend trips to the Red River Gorge as I can. Living and loving life, and trying to forget about the CPA exam.

Maybe the first week of August I will start to slowly read through my book just to have a jump start in case I have to retake, but no point in worrying about it now.

I have tried checking because I am going nuts. I have one more section and I am trying to concentrate on studying. I have no idea what I will do between my last test and the score release. I keep hoping they get enough data and release the scores early.

@jgibs I've heard multiple people mention the possibility of them releasing the scores earlier than the August deadlines they set. Does anyone have any actual reliable evidence that this could potentially happen or is this just nervous hopefulness? I'm an auditor so I like to have solid evidence, ha!

@CorporetteCPAintheMaking It's just wishful thinking. Just think about it, the AICPA has nothing to gain if they decide to release the scores early.

@corporettecpainthemaking its just wishful thinking because it keeps me from going nuts. I am currently studying my last section. I plan to take that test on July 19th. I have to wait until September for that score. That will be the hardest part.
