Well, I took FAR yesterday. I went in well prepared this time. It was a rough exam. First testlet was medium, of course. Second one felt like it got harder. The third one either stayed hard or I had no clue. I know that it did not get easier.

Compared to my first crack at FAR, this test was night and day. First exam was DEFINITELY easier. But that was because I didn’t do well and kept getting medium testlets. I looked at the questions and could have answered them if I had studied. They were basic questions.

This exam was tough. I feel weird saying this because I was well prepared. I thought if I was well prepared I would feel confidant. I don’t.

It could really go either way. December 9th feels years away..

Any advice for staying sane during the waiting period??? This is my last chance at FAR before I lose AUD.

    I'm in a NASBA state.

Make sure you know govt and nfp. Guaranteed points there. Leave no stone unturned if possible. If you have extra time, make sure you've gone over all of the areas to at least be able to give an educated guess.

Don't neglet IFRS. My first exam had maybe 3 questions. This one had TONS plus a SIM.

Keep doing new multiple choie if possible.

I might have to take myself up on the 2 week rager. FAR went much better this time. Last time, I left and drove my 5 minutes and guzzled 3 glasses of wine in 15 minutes. I bet I passed or am damn close this time.

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

    *expired

@Nick drill down more on gov/nfp and ifrs. my first testlet had 7 items from gov/nfp, and 7 from ifrs all conceptual. second testlet a few of nfp/gov but more on computation for topics such as bonds, leases and ppe. It's harder than the first one. third testlet was easy, only basic questions. I knew I bombed the second testlet plus the sim. I didn't get govt/nfp sim. I got JE requirements to fill in and the amount. Good luck.

    AUD - 79 (expired) retaking July 28,2016
    FAR - 76 expiring July 31, 2016
    BEC - 85
    REG - 74,74,74,74,59,70,

Haven't you said how hard your family has taken your studying? You're done, at least for 2 weeks. Stop coming to this forum and go live your life until then.

    Ouch. You're right.

I never come on this site when I have my kids or am with family though.
