How does NTS work? For example, say I pay for FAR and AUD and get a NTS on March 1 and I schedule to sit in April/May but fail both. Can I pay for and get another NTS for FAR and AUD for July/August? It would all within a 6 month time frame.

Second question: if I pay for all 4 parts and get a NTS on January 1, can I schedule to take the 4 parts in July/August (beyond 6 months from receiving NTS)? Or, can I only schedule exams during a 6 month period from the date of the NTS (Jan 1 – May 31)?

I would appreciate it if someone would help clarify this for me.

When you get the NTS, it will have an expiration date on it. You need to use the NTS on or before that date regardless of how many NTS you buy at once (tip: don't buy all 4 at once, you just never know what will come up), If you use the NTS before the expiration date, it expires on the day you use it. So if you have one that expires 12/31 and take the exam on 7/30, you still have to pay for a new NTS.

If you sit for an exam during a window, then receive a failing score, you can reapply (and pay) for a new NTS 48 hours after you receive a failing grade. You may not take the same section more than once in the same window.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

@ibrahim, if your nts expires before you take the exam then you can reapply and get a new nts.
