Just curious. Last I heard the proctors were still handing out wet tissues to clean the measly 2 laminated sheets that we get to write on during the exam….which sooooooo isn’t going to work for FAR (for me, that is.)

And yes, I won’t be surprised if that’s been banned as well.

I do the same as Tripp11 – I wear my favorite “lucky” long sleeved knit turtleneck, and lick on my finger and wipe the whiteboard with the cuff of my shirt. I don't have time or want to break concentration to get new whiteboards. Of course I write a couple of formulas at the beginning of the test, so I don't want to trade them in.

I still like to work out some of the problems by writing them down – then using the calculator. That is what works for me.

My testing center is really cold, so my turtleneck works for that reason also.

I agree those whiteboards suck.. :p

    REG 75
    FAR 88
    AUDIT 82
    BEC 74, 12/4/2013 84 Thank You Lord Jesus !!!

I did the same thing for REG as Tripp11.

My prometric is slooooowwww. So its a deal breaker for me to get new sheets from them. Lick and wipe is the way to go.

I bought a laminated sheet to use to practice on. Dry erase markers did not work. They were harder to erase than the dry erase markers. Just ask for new sheets/pens.

    Reg - Passed 82 Nov 2012 - Becker
    Aud - Passed 86 May 2013 - Becker
    BEC - Passed 88 Aug 2013 - Becker
    FAR - Passed 88 Nov 2013 - Becker

I never understood why they only gives us two.

When we had the paper and pencil we had a both 3-4 pages so can write both sides = at least 8 sides right. Now its cut down to just 4 sides to write on.

Since the buggers are – reusing the same laminated sheets why can't they just give us 3 or 4 upfront instead of just 2.

It is not like paper and pencil where it would be put into the garbage after use.

I licked my finger tip and smudged out an entire side, then simply wiped it against my t-shirt. You gotta do what you gotta do, and I'm not there to look pretty. Funny thing is I only used two sides for FAR, it was a very conceptual exam.

I for one applaud the change if it means less of those blue booklets are produced and eventually discarded.

Recycling isn't 100% efficient and there is always some loss.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

All of you using the “spit & shine” approach are making me want to bring a bottle of 409 to the test center next time to scrub the sheets…hahaha!! ; )
