I scheduled a June 10th testing session at

    1100 N. MOUNTAIN ROAD

    HARRISBURG, PA 17112

Problem is that the only time available was 6:30PM

Does that sound odd to you, that they’ll let you start a 4 hour exam after most businesses are closed for the day? I can’t imagine that Prometric made a mistake on their web site but I also can’t imagine that they’d be willing to pay laborers to sit there for non-peak hours.

What I’m afraid of is that I show up to the test center and the doors are locked, and it’s too late to get my testing in for this Q2 window.

It's the last day of the testing window they may run extended hours that day. Your best bet is to call on Tuesday and confirm someone will be there until 10:30 if you require the full 4 hours-but they don't follow typical business hours

Be ready (as in “ready” to sit) around 10-11am that day. You may get a call around noon and may be invited to come in earlier.

It happened to me in the past. I had this 4pm schedule and they called me early morning that day to tell me I was more than welcome to sit earlier. I wish I had anticipated that early on.

Just go before your scheduled time.

i have a friend who tests after work. he prefers it. there was a 6:30pm option on one of the days i wanted but preferred an earlier time on a different day and took that instead.

I always preferred earlier tests, but did schedule my last one at 6pm on a Saturday cause that was the only time slot available on the day that I wanted to take the test, and it was a true legitimate time. So, not quite as late as 6:30, but awfully close. I think that because Prometric administers a lot of professional exams, the weekends and after hours are probably busier times for them than mid-day, since they work with working professionals.

I was scheduled to take REG at 7:00 on 5/18, I got to go in at 5:00 or so and take it so it wasn't as bad. But yeah, those are legit times. I was surprised to see that.

74phoenix, the 2016 windows have been extended by 10 days to accommodate the demand for exams seats prior to the 2017 changes.
