    Freak out level = maximum.

    Here’s my story:

I started this brutal trip in 2011 shortly after graduating and being hired by a public firm.

I did not pass until my second round in 2012 (BEC in October and AUD in November). I finally began to see the light….and now it is fading.

Since that point I have taken FAR four time and spent the entire year trying to pass and not even getting in the 70’s. After a hectic busy season and my credits expiration looming (BEC on April 20 and AUD in May), I decided to switch gears into REG.

As usual, it is not going as expected. I started by doing Wiley MCQ (all of them) topic by topic in the B-law section. I’m solid on those I got through but started to panic this weekend when I realized I haven’t even touched tax. I have 10 days left and for the last three have been doing 20 set questions of all MCQ, and keeping a notebook divided by module to take notes on EVERYTHING I learn in the process.

I wanted some advice from those who may have been in a time crunch. I have the Audio and Ninja notes from 2013, Becker 2012 and Wiley 2012 (Jeff, if you see this, please read my e-mail requesting updates!). I am thinking of spending this weekend (at least a day) going through my Becker notes from the lectures and combing them onto my Ninja Notes so get a broad overview of everything, and then go back to hitting the MCQ.

I am even sleeping with the audio notes hoping somehow it absorbs…. I really have to pass REG or FAR this window or I am sure I will lose a credit if I try to take them both again before April 20th.

Please, Ninjas give me some hope or advice….:( For those successful smarty pants, what would you do in these last 10 days (or for the end of the testing window for that matter)

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Wiley Text and Ninja Notes

"The fish who keeps on swimming is the first to chill upstream" -311

Experience - Done, like WAAAY done.
Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

Hey, Do what you have to do to relieve the pressure, but don't relax, just relieve. The sooner you get this done, the sooner you can forget about taking it again. ( yes, following my own advice. really ready to get this done).

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

OP- I'm in the same boat. I passed FAR in Nov. 2012, AUD in May 2013 and I've taken BEC and failed (2x) and taken REG and failed once. I've been studying, I've been working my tail off, but I'm the queen of the low 70s. Here is what I'm doing, I also work FT at a public firm. I've been studying for BEC since my last fail (which was this past December) and I'm taking it for the 3rd time on Monday. I'm using Becker and Ninja Notes/Ninja Audio. Even though I will be drowning in busy season I'm attempting REG at the end of Feb. For me, I'm not willing to let a window slip by w/ out attempting. When I took REG in July my computer crashed. When I took FAR (3x) back in 2012 I was one of those people they discovered they had “accidentally” graded my sims wrong and I should have passed on my 2nd attempt. This is my long way of saying that too many things can go wrong from a AICPA/Prometrics perpective for me to let a window go by. And the idea of losing my FAR credit (or any credit for that matter) makes me want to curl up in a ball and let it all go.

Work the ELL, it's HARD but getting 2hrs of study time in before 1pm everyday makes the rest of the day or study load seem much more manageable after a long work day. Good luck to you!

    FAR - passed, 11/12
    AUD - passed, 5/13

I am in a similar boat – I passed BEC and REG relatively easily, but FAR is kicking my butt (two fails so far). My BEC expires April 30th.

What I have decided to do is take FAR at the end of January and then AUD end of February. Hopefully that will be enough if not I will have the option of taking one or both in April.

I have reread all of my notes, all of the NINJA notes, looked at lectures, and done some MCQs. My plan for the next three weeks is non-stop MCQs – reviewing in detail whatever I get wrong. My goal is to do at least 1,000 – thats averages out to 50 a day.

    Best of luck!
