My inquiry is a bit complex, but basically I am seeking guidance in the following area. I began my quest by passing BEC
back in Aug 2011. Since then, I failed Audit twice. I registered to take the FAR exam and took it on January 3rd. Since my testing window expired Feb 18 2013, I figured I would register for both AUD/REG and take them in early Feb 2013 (just in case I passed FAR on Jan 3rd). That way if I did pass FAR, I would have a minimal chance of passing both AUD/REG prior to the expiration of my 18-month window. Unfortunately, I did not pass FAR and had to cancel my scheduled AUD/REG exams via Prometric.
As far as the Maryland Board is concerned, there is no refund for the AUD/REG sections (paid $400 for both). My NTS states that the latest I can take both is late July 2013. However, due to life circumstances, I will not embark on another attempt until later this year (Oct/Nov). So, if I do not schedule a test prior to the NTS deadline would I???
A)Have to re-register only, but not lose the $400 I paid?
OR
B)Have to re-register AND re-pay the $400?
I just don’t want to be out $400 bucks. The only reason I registered for those 2 exams is that I had a slight chance of hitting the jackpot early this year (passing all 4 b/f window expired), but the desired sequence of events never came to fruition.
Thanks guys!
Arvind
