Thank you everybody for your responses.
In case anyone has the same problem and looking for info, I called the prometric site in NY and was told that you can leave snacks in your locker and access them during your break, just make sure not to touch any notes or electronics.
I don't have diabetes either, but had hypoglycemia as a child which went away, and decided to come back to me as an adult…maybe it is something that will eventually turn into diabetes.
It seems strange that we wouldn't be able to last 3-4 hrs but I guess only someone that has this will understand.. it is such an awful feeling.
It also can be unpredictable, sometimes I can keep it stable and sometimes it just creeps up without warning. Obviously a sandwich would be time consuming, but just wanted to have a plan during the exam just in case. And as someone stated that fuzzy brain feeling it causes would make my brain useless during the exam, so better to take quick break.
It makes me feel better to read that others have this problem since I have never met anyone with this, and everyone that I am around seem to be able to go for hours without eating lol.
Thanks for everyone's input & good luck!
