Only day in Q1 window to take with vacation followed by busy season, are exams offered on New Years Day?

WOW! You start busy season on 1/2? Holy cow! We don't start cranking up until about the 10th, and even then we're slow to move.

Maybe you could take it on a Sunday?

As for New Year's Day, specifically – I don't have a clue.

However, my center was closed on the Fourth of July – so probably all recognized national holidays they're closed.

I just used the “seat availability” tool on Prometric website and checked both testing centers close to me, and both had no availability for January 1, 2015. Not sure if this means they were closed or just full, but if I had to guess… Closed.

I think it's too early for January availability to be shown on the calendar. I wanted to schedule an early January exam before and I don't think i could schedule it until September or October.

However, I would bet Prometric is closed New Year's Day. Everyone else has the day off, why should Prometric be any different?

January 1 is a Thursday. Why not take it Friday?
