This may seem like a silly question but I hope someone can help!

I took BEC in August and failed with a 69. I am trying to take it again at the end of November (as my NTS expires in December) but am having trouble scheduling on the Prometric website. It says that my section ID is not correct, but I copied it directly from my NTS.

I should be able to use the NTS again because it has not yet expired, correct? I don’t need a new one if the date is still valid?

If its the same NTS you used in August you need a new one. It expires on the day you use it or on the expiration date, whichever comes first.
