Did the length of the exams change?

    Hi All,

I recently registered for Audit on January 25th. While searching for available days/times, I noticed that the time frames given are 4.5 hours long. When I previously took the exam, the blocks were 4 hours. Is the additional half hour the 30 minutes that you are supposed to arrive at the test center by? Or am I losing it lol…

    FAR - 78
    AUD - 66, 91
    REG - August 28, 2014
    BEC - 74, 79

It says that for AUD and FAR and 3.5 hrs for REG and BEC…it says that because of the 30 min requirement.

Good luck on your exam πŸ™‚

    3XBEC:75 * 4XREG:82 * 4XFAR:76 * 7XAUD:77

I asked the same thing to the Prometric people last time I sat. It's a half hour buffer time for unexpected delays and stuff like that. The actual exam times haven't changed.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

They did a study which revealed that candidates who take Audit usually have diarrhea right before the exam. For this reason, starting the first quarter of 2014, there will be a 30 minute bathroom break for the Audit exam. You can study while in the toilet if you bring your notes.

    Good luck!

The study was conducted by Harvard medical research, I hope they do one for FAR before Feb 28th.

I am assuming the research is advising candidates to not eat at Taco Bell before the AUD exam. LOL!
