Has anyone ever had their confirmation of attendance not print out after taking a section of the exam. This is my fourth time taking an exam and has never happened to me. The test center didn’t seem worried but should I be?
Thanks!

However I had to send my state board a copy of my confirmation as proof. These exams are too important to leave anything up to chance. A person who is new at a prometric center would not understand what we go through to prepare. Yes these cases are rare, but it happened to me.

October 19, 2013 at 3:40 pm #460155MintsRGoodParticipantThe confirmation of attendance gives me peace of mind that if anything goes FUBAR at prometric, I have hard proof that I was there.
Our firm gives 4 days of paid time off per year for anyone taking the exam. Additionally, we let candidates use personal time rather than vacation time if they want the day off before their test. I always schedule exams for Monday mornings and take the Friday before off too. It's great perk!
The only catch is that you need to show your attendance confirm with the raised seal to receive your cash and prizes! Needless to say, I make damn sure the prometric gremlin gives me that attendance confirm with the seal every time I sit!!! 😉

What a moron I am to have left there without it yesterday. Argh.

October 19, 2013 at 6:38 pm #4601590506597Participant@DJN. Don't be so hard on yourself. Anyone pursuing this certification is definitely not a moron. One would expect the folks at the prometric center to follow procedure which is to stamp the confirmation with the raised seal and give it to you. We are all brain dead after these tests and all we want to do after the test is leave. I just happen to be one of those rare cases where I needed the confirmation. We are all so ready to be done with this journey. And we will be!

October 19, 2013 at 7:01 pm #460269tough_kittyMemberI'm not saying you don't need a confirmation. I'm just saying that if you didn't get one, they still have some trace of you attending the testing center and taking the exam.
@DJN: I'm sure you passed the exam! 🙂 and yes, I agree with the previous post – you are not a moron! 🙂 it's their job to remember about the confirmation, not yours!

California CPA since 1/30/14October 21, 2013 at 6:57 pm #460271krodrig4MemberWell, I haven't been able to get ahold of Prometric yet, however NASBA did respond to an email that my answers for all four testlets were captured, saved, and successfully transmitted to the AICPA for scoring. I will call Prometric again in the next day or two to still get a copy of my Confirmation of Attendence though.

REG- 71,89October 21, 2013 at 7:37 pm #460273AnonymousInactivekrodrig4, I got virtually the same email you did from NASBA today. As for Prometric… good luck. The “Customer Care” center just points you back to the testing center, and the testing center tells you there's nothing they can do once you leave there. I did get them to begrudgingly agree at the testing center that they *may* be able to give me a copy of my sign in/sign out sheet if I went there in person, but at this point I'm just going with the NASBA email for comfort. Lesson learned!
