Has anyone ever had their confirmation of attendance not print out after taking a section of the exam. This is my fourth time taking an exam and has never happened to me. The test center didn’t seem worried but should I be?

Not sure you should be worried because when you sign in, don't they take your picture, etc?

I was never given a confirmation on attendance on my 1st section.

There was a thread a month or so ago where someone's exam got lost at Prometric, and being able to show his confirmation of attendance saved his butt. That's a pretty rare occurrence though. I wouldn't worry about it. I don't know if there's anything you can do about it.

Yes, the confirmation of attendance is extremely important. It is the proof that you were there and took the exam. Last testing window, I took REG. I kept my confirmation of attendance. When scores were released, I did not see my scores posted. I contacted my state board and they were told by the prometric center that I was a no show. So I had to wait until the issue was resolved and was worried that I would have to retake my exam because the AICPA never received my exam. The only proof I had was my confirmation. After further investigation, the prometric center messed up and had the wrong confirmation # that you receive when you schedule your test attached to my NTS ID. Once that was resolved, my REG exam was transmitted by prometric to AICPA. So yes, please hold on to the confirmation of attendance until you receive your exam score. I would go back to the testing center and get a confirmation.

OK, so now I'm in a panic. I took FAR today and the person who handled my processing freely admitted she was new. It didn't occur to me until reading this thread that I didn't get a confirmation when I left there. Back to Prometric tomorrow…

Well, they make you sign in and sign out in their book, so the confirmation paper is not the only proof…. so don't panic! 🙂
