I had a FAR retake on Monday. 15 minutes in, there is a server outage and my computer freezes. The Prometric center I was at had to shut down all the servers and then reboot them. I had to wait in the lobby for 30 MINUTES while they were able to get the system back up. I was extremely stressed out at that point and think it influenced my focus during the rest of my exam.

Has this ever happened to you?

This happened to me during my REG exam and I had to wait closer to an hour before things were back up and running.

This actually happened to me on Monday as well during my REG exam, except I was through my second testlet when it happened. I waited for an hour and a half and they never got the system back up, so I had to start completely from scratch today. Trust me I understand it definitely destroys your nerves, as if this test was nerveracking enough as it is. I hope everything works out for you though!

Happened to me halfway through FAR in July. It was my first cpa exam.. I was ready to jump out the 17th floor window and be done. The prometric lady somehow reset my computer and I resumed right where I was. My time stopped too so I only lost about 1 minute worth of exam time.. Thankfully I did not jump becasue I passed. Barely

The system was having technical issues at the site I was at (PA) this morning. I waited 2.5 hours before they got the glitch resolved, and I could take my exam. I was allowed to leave after a half hour with no penalty, but I just wanted to take it since I already reschedule once.

Passed all sections.
