Okay so I am in a bind. I need to reschedule my exam tonight because I am not ready. I plan to take the Georgia CPA exam but the only openings near me on the date I want is just across the state line in Florida (about 30 minutes from where I live). Can I take the Georgia CPA exam in Florida? Or is it considered the Florida CPA exam and would I have to transfer scores after taking the exam?

Your NTS will have your launch code generated for the jurisdiction your eligible to test in. Location doesn't matter. I am a NH candidate and took all of my exams in Massachusetts because I moved there after applying.

    NH CPA
    REG: 07/03/2014 - 88
    AUD: 08/30/2014 - 73 - Retake 10/16/14 - 86
    BEC: 05/31/2015 - 77
    FAR: 08/08/2015 - 64 - Retake 11/23/15 - 77

Thank you for a quick response. So that means I just take the test and will not have to transfer any scores because it will automatically go to Georgia since that is my jurisdiction right?

No matter where you take the exam, prometric transfers the test to the AICPA, who grades and submits the score to NASBA, who transfers the score to whatever state you're authorized to test in. Florida won't get your score even if you test there.
