Hi everyone,
Taking my first step into the cpa exam but had a question on how long the NTS is for before it expires. My situation is that I have a strong foundation on FAR and AUD. My weakness will be on REG which I am going to put more effort into that section as changes have happened since graduating 3 semesters ago.
I recognized that when you initially register as a first time applicant as I am, I will have to pay the $145 app fee along with the per section fees that range from $171 to $197 (Hawaii jurisdiction). I am planning on taking FAR and AUD in April/May and BEC in July. REG is the issue though as I will only be able to take this section once I review the Wiley book which is dependent on how busy my job gets.
My question is if I initially sign up for all 4 sections with my initial app, will my NTS have an expiration of at least 9 months? I figure the upfront costs to pay for all 4 sections is worth the price as I will avoid paying for the re-examination registration fees. But this of course is dependent on how long the NTS expiration is. Thanks in advance
FAR - 93
AUD - 98
REG - 92
BEC - 92
