Application Processing Time – How Long?

NASBA, just today, received all of the relevant information they needed, from me, to deem me a candidate. Unfortunately, I havent been deemed a candidate yet because my application still needs to be processed.

The representative I spoke to on the phone said that it may take up to 3 weeks for my application to be processed and for me to receive my NTS.

This isnt good for me since I planned on scheduling my first exam in 5-ish weeks at the end of July.

Does anyone know how quickly the application processing process generally takes?

I've heard anywhere from 4-8 weeks for processing. The only advice I can give you is to be persistent and stay on top of NASBA. Sometimes they need a little hand-holding. My NTS was 10 days late from when I was told I was originally supposed to get it, because they screwed up my application.

Don't wait for NASBA to start studying and you should be fine. Mine took about four days (New York).

You can still schedule your exam up to 5 days before you want to sit for the exam. So if you want to sit at the end of July, you would need your NTS by like July 22 and that is 4 weeks away, so you will most likely have enough time still. Just study now like you are taking the exam then and if you have to move it back a week or two, then you'll have to do that. You don't need the NTS to study.
