Okay so i started studying on Monday for BEC. The chapter started off with Corporate Governance. The whole time I was just thinking “WTH am I reading here?? I don’t get it…what is it trying to tell me??” I took the MCQs for the first time for that section and scored a 77% on Becker. Now, that’s not a bad score for the first try., but after I did them, I had no idea what those MCQs were about. >< Did anyone feel like this? It just seems like vague business concepts too me. Not a good sign that I’m so lost already.

@misanthrope87, after going through them the second time you will start to understand the concepts behind them. I thought they relate a lot to AUD, so that means you should be great in that section 😉

Yah I did notice some similarities. But the internal control questions for BEC confuse me for some reason. I hope you're right about repetition. Are you studying for BEC these days?

@misanthrope87, Yeah I'm on to BEC :/ I've gone through all of the Becker MCQs twice, did a few progress tests. So I just moved on to Wiley today since the Becker questions are a little too familiar to me now, and am getting my butt beat by Wiley! When are you planning to sit?

yeah the corp governance section is a bit of a mess but the questions they'll ask you on the exam won't go into TOO much detail

I have it scheduled for Feb 18 but I'm gonna push it off to Feb 27. So it's a long way to go for me. I just cannot study as much as some of the people on this board while I'm working. Even with the working people here, I dunno how they manage 20+ hours. I just cant do it. I see your test is coming up soon. Good luck! If you can kick REG's @SS you should be able to do anything!!! And Wiley is a great supplement! Planning to use it towards the last few weeks of my studies after I get the basics down.

Lmao… I just read through this as well. The AUD thing hit me at first but I am struggling to stay awake with this operations and project management crap. I am def. buying the ninja notes for this I keep zoning out.

btw mis…looks like we are taking the exam the same day. I am also trying for 20+ hours a week we'll see how we can manage.

The one test per quarter thing has worked well with working 40 hrs. a week. I can see the finish line ahead.
