Hi,

I am preparing for BEC exam . I would like to know what is the split up for written part. how much to concentrate on each chapter for the written communication part. please clarify. is there any site where we take online tests to see how we score?

The written part counts for 15% of the exam. What's being tested is your written communication ability, not knowledge of the material. What to focus on are:

–correct grammar/spelling

–answer the question asked

–present the material in a logical fashion

–use paragraphs, not bullet points or tables

–structure – introduction, body, conclusion

–paragraphs have topic sentence and other sentences in paragraph support/relate to it

I'm not sure what you mean by online site to take tests. If you're referring to something like a test bank, Wiley's does include simulation questions in the BEC module.
