LT-PMemberstudying – FAR was absolutely the worst — Took me about 3 months to get through the material because I never felt prepared. I'm still not sure how I passed but I'm not complaining.
actual exam – MCQ's (BEC) / Sims (FAR) — Because the BEC material is so broad, the MCQ's were literally all over the place. / FAR sims can be on anything, there's a million little topics and of course you'll get stuck with sims on the few topics you weren't super confident about.
- passed all 4 exams on my first try using Becker!
Ethics: TBD

ItsStudyTimeMemberI really enjoyed studying for BEC, too. I feel like I have a better understanding of why things are done a certain way at work, and the stats refresher was useful. I actually prepared a multivariable regression analysis in Excel the day after I about it in Wiley. My BEC downfall: IT.
BEC - 10/01/2013 - 80 - Wiley books and test bank
AUD - 10/21/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
REG - 11/27/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
FAR - 01/13/2014 - 79 - Wiley books and test bank, Ninja BlitzLicense Issued 03/17/2014

JferjameyParticipantFAR was awful to study for, but since I studied for it the longest (8 weeks), I felt like I knew the material (even though I felt like I failed when I left Prometric). REG was probably the worst IMO. I felt like I was guessing on all the computational questions, including SIMS! There are just so many rules that you have to remember for Tax.
B - 81 (8/31/13) first attempt!
A - 80 (2/3/14) first attempt!
R - 89 (7/31/13) first attempt!
F - 86 (7/2/13) first attempt!
Licensed CPA: 12/31/14Becker rocks!

JferjameyParticipant@DJN, I liked the econ parts of BEC too. It has been so long since I took Micro and Macro, I'd forgotten about a lot of basic econ topics (supply and demand curves and what affects them). It's interesting.
