kandisjoyParticipantI've seen a lot of people who say “giving” an exam or “gave” an exam. I'm guessing English as a second language? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious.
Just so you know, in English we normally say “taking” an exam and “took” an exam rather than “giving” and “gave.”
To above posters who only used driver's license – I talked to prometric about this and they said it's a new policy and that's all they need. But I would still bring a second form (like a credit card) just in case.
Brona – there should be a list on the second page of your Notice to Schedule that lists all acceptable forms of identification.

Texas27MemberTrue… the guy at a Prometric center in Texas told me they don't even need a second form of ID anymore but I still bring one anyways just in case something happens.

SapperMemberIt depends on the testing center. Of my two tests so far, one center asked me for two IDs, the other only needed one.
You're safe as long as you follow the ID requirements on the back of the Notice to Schedule (NTS):
The same version of your name must appear on your application, this Notice to Schedule and on the identification you present at the testing center. You must present two forms of identification at the testing center, one of which must include a recent photograph and your signature and be on the list of primary forms of identification below. The other identification must include your signature. Neither form of identification may be expired.
Primary Forms of Identification:
Valid (not expired) government issued driver's license with photograph and signature. The license must be printed in
English to the extent required to compare the name with the one on the NTS and to confirm validity.
Valid (not expired) state identification card with a recent photograph and signature issued by one of the fifty U.S.
states or by a U.S. territory. (Candidates who do not drive may have an identification card issued by the agency which
also issues driver's licenses.)
Valid (not expired) government issued passport with a recent photograph and signature.
United States military identification card with a recent photograph and signature.
Secondary Forms of Identification:
Additional government issued identification from the above list.
Accountancy Board-issued identification.
Valid credit card (with signature).
Bank automated teller machine (ATM) card (with signature).
Valid bank debit card (with signature)
The following are UNACCEPTABLE forms of identification:
Draft classification card.
Social Security card.
Student identification card.
United States permanent residency card (green card).

highnndryMemberHello everyone,
Long time lurker and first time poster. I just received the payment coupon from California Board of Accountancy and checked the spelling of my name to my drivers license and it matches exactly. However, for my second type of ID (Credit card and debit card) it only lists my first and last name and doesn't include my middle name, not even middle initial. I wonder if this will be a problem? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

littlenumberrobotMemberDo you have a passport? I usually just take mine. Can't get more official than that.

highnndryMemberUnfortunately I don't. And it will take too long if I apply now.

littlenumberrobotMemberWell do you have a unique name? I'm not sure if it is my testing center or my name, but I have never been asked for a 2nd ID. But please do show up with one! Take both and see.
Anyone else have different experience than I?
