I have passed FAR and AUD and have taken REG but haven’t received my score yet and I am studying for BEC for Friday!!! When I first started this journey I was told to take FAR first and save AUD and BEC for last bc they are the easiest. Well I took FAR first and then I only had two weeks after that before the testlet ended so I decided to squeeze in AUD. I failed FAR on my first attempt but passed AUD (I have been auditing for a few years now, so that helped). Anyways FAR had a lot of material but it wasn’t hard material (Just a crap load of it but mostly it all related and then I took Regulation and it was similar to FAR it wasn’t hard material to study but just a bunch of it and the tax sections related together and the business law section kind of related, however now I am studying for BEC it it is complete CRAP!!! Someone on here said it best that it is like all of the sections of BEC are the leftovers that was thrown together. None of the sections really relate so it is hard to get into a mind set for the entire test. Once you get into one mindset and study one section and move onto another section you have to get into a whole new mindset. So to me BEC has been the hardest one to study for. Just had to rant for a bit…BEC is killing me right now. Well back to it.

    BEC-Attempt 1-(71)...Attempt 2 (Passed Baby)-Praise the Lord-Couldn't have done it without him.

I felt the same. BEC is complete trash!!!! I don't know who said its the easiest.. I know many people who graduated before me said that.. They must be smoking something because I hated it. I'd rather go over REG twice, then BEC once.. It was torture. I get my score this week, but Im almost positive I will have to retake it. I was honestly straight guessing on everything.. It sucked.

REG: PASS || BEC: PASS || AUD: PASS || F: SCORE PENDING..

Totally agree with you. BEC was by far the hardest for me. I had to go through some of the sections 4 times before it even “sorta” clicked. The only plus for BEC is no SIMS and the thought of that helped me push through it.

Luckily you can pick up some rather easy points just by having formulas memorized. Good luck!

same here. I took FAR and AUD and passed both on the first try. I took BEC on 8/1 and it was very difficult. I was guessing so many questions in the third testlet. I am hoping for a miracle.

BEC was the easiest for me, not because it was easy but because it was structured to my thought process. Plus I was raised on writing so that section was basically just skipped in my studying. REG was the hardest for me because I am terrible at taxes.

I think the things that really helps with BEC is that there is all the writing in it. Remember that they aren't grading you on spelling and grammer unless you are REALLY terrible at it. Focus on getting your point across in a basic structure. Look up five paragraph paper formats if that helps.

    BEC - 85
    FAR - 85
    REG - 82
    AUD - 68, 88

The difficulty for each exam is completely different for each test taker. Each exam offers it's own challenge that makes it difficult.

FAR/REG – the amount of material you need to learn

AUD – the somewhat abstract concepts, plethora of reports

BEC – topics seem to jump randomly with no correlation. Cost accounting, then Economics, then IT, etc.

Each person will be more in tune with some sections and not so much with others.

    FAR: 87
    AUD: 86
    BEC: 86
    REG: 84! Officially Done!

Well, because of BEC, I almost gave up the whole CPA exam journey, it took me 4 attempts to pass this beast

I won't say it's the hardest nor easiest, but the TRICKIEST! it really depends on what testlet you get. For me, it's the hardest to pass, not the overall questions or material making it tough. I wouldn't suggest to take it last because I saw lots and lots ppl lost credit because they weren't able to pass bec as the last section.

From my personal exp, I would definitely prefer to place it as either 2nd or 3rd of your section. I took BEC first and I wasted 6 months of my time just to get through this beast. It was really discouraging when I failed multiple times on my first ever cpa exam and glad i took someone's advice to take AUD first, which built up my confidence, leading to continuous battle with the whole cpa exam

I see you are left with BEC and REG, this case, I suggest to pass BEC first then go for REG
