I HATE BEC WITH A BLOODY PASSION!!! I have finally figured out why I don’t like this (insert dirty word here) test. It’s because it makes me feel (dirty word) stupid! I get to the point that I can’t (dirty word) add anymore. I forget basic (dirtiest word) algebra because I’m too busy trying to remember a (dirty word) formula that I will NEVER use again. Then I begin to wish I had spent more time in the Ag Shop learning to weld as good as my Daddy, because if I had, I could make a decent (dirty word) living and not have to do this (insert all of the dirty words here and then make up new ones to add) ever again!!! It sucks!!! Why can’t we just have one freaking formula for something? NO, we’ve got to have five (dirty word) different formulas that all come to the same (make up some more new dirty words here) answer. I am convinced that this test was designed by the Devil to test us, not on accounting but to find out just how many of us would lose it! Well, I’m about to snap! Between Operating Leverage and Weighted Average Cost of Capital and Corporate Governance and a freaking hurricane beating down my (dirty word) door, I’m about to nut up!

Yes, yes i almost lost it in the gas line, guess a diet change is in order, lol. It was crazy, sams club gas station had someone actually directing the gas line traffic to keep people from cutting

I have nothing constructive to add to this thread but empathy. BEC sucked so bad. When I was waiting for my score, I kept thinking “I don't care if I fail, I just care if I have to study for this (dirty word) again.” Shudder. So horrible. I don't think there is any way to feel prepared for that one.

On a side note, my mom's entire side of the fam lives in the sticks in SW Louisiana, mostly Midland, Morse, and Jennings… I'd always heard them calling themselves coon-asses, so I always think of them when I see Kricket pulling out the “POCA.” Yay, family.

Indeed, whenever somebody leaves the “lid off the box”, hilarity always ensues. Haha whenever Kricket goes POCA-mode, I always picture her chasing people around with a rolling pin, or, I guess in the case of being in the Bayou, a charred mini-alligator, smacking people over the head with it.

It's alright mla1169. The Tigers are a good football team, but they aren't MY team. I said earlier that it takes a special kind of person to live in Louisiana. You've got to be tough, you've got to know how to bounce back, you've got to know that if you put your mind to it, you can do ANYTHING! After Katrina hit, a lot of people said that New Orleans shouldn't exist, because it's underwater. A lot of people said we shouldn't rebuild it. But we did! After all of the death, destruction, mayhem and anguish, New Orleans came back, stronger and better than ever. A lot of people said that hell would freeze over before the Saint's won a Super Bowl. Well, we all know the devil had to buy ice skates a few years ago! The Saint's and New Orleans aren't unique in Louisiana. We are ALL determined. Even with another storm about to pound south Louisiana, I'm working my butt off. I'll be driving south on Interstate 49 right after Hurricane Isaac heads north. I'm more determined than I have ever been. Because just like New Orleans and the Saint's, I'm a survivor. Who Dat? Y'all can keep your red underwear. I've got my Brees jersey ready for Friday!!!
