For those of you who have taken BEC: how many questions on variances did you get and how complicated were they?

No specifics on what the question asked of course, just the number of variance questions you had and were they complicated when compared to Wiley test bank or Becker?

    AUD- 97 1x
    REG- 81 1x
    BEC- 79 1x
    FAR- 88 1x

    DONE!

    10/1/12 to 2/28/14

I'm pretty sure you can't ask that.

    FAR 92 (2/27/13)
    AUD 99 (4/18/13)
    REG 93 (7/5/13)
    BEC 92 (8/12/13)

Just asking if you had a lot of variance questions and if so, were they complicated compared to Becker/Wiley test bank.

    BEC- 79 1x
    FAR- 88 1x

    Going to tread lightly.

If I were you op, I would be comfortable doing the long problems in Becker so that hopefully, when you get the short ones on exam day, you can knock them out of the park.

    FAR 02/21/13 - 95
    REG 07/02/13 - 87
    AUD 08/02/13 - 94
    BEC 08/30/13 - 85
    Ethics Exam - 90

@mmp3 He can ask that. The question is, will anybody be willing to break the disclosure agreement to answer him? 😉

@jasonrobbins in all seriousness, mmp3 and peetree are right…you gotta tread lightly here. From what I'm aware, you're not allowed to discuss how much of your exam was on one topic. You can look up the CSOs on the AICPA website. Those have the percentage breakdowns of each topic on the exam. That should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
