In the 2011 4 Quarter score release, I received my BEC score a week after my state released scores and got a 73. I retook it in January and received an 81 and got it the first day they released the scores.

AUD: PASSED [81]; Expired, retaking August 23rd
BEC: PASSED [83]; Expired, retaking July 11th
REG: PASSED [83]
FAR: FAILED [64]; Retaking May 23rd

In the fourth quarter 2011 I received my bec score a day or two after everyone else and I had a 76, so no it's not true that the borderline score will always be a failing score

true! same thing happen to me I received a 74 as well! it hurts but you can do it!

The more I think about it, the 74 is actually motivating.

This was my first attempt at any CPA exam, and I am doing self study at home.

With a full-time (often overtime) job and I'm a single parent.

I'm close enough to know I'm on the right track 🙂

I see you passed FAR! Congrats!!! That is my next exam. What I would do for a 76!!!!
